Berlin – The Basics
The first in a series of posts about visiting Berlin, MD
Your First Stop
I highly recommend making a stop at the Berlin Visitor Center at 14 South Main Street.
The visitor center is just across the street from the white building in the photo.
You can pick up a great little map there, that shows where to find the restaurants, shops and other important things, like the public restrooms. When they are open, there is a friendly person willing to answer your questions, and when they are not there is an open vestibule with plenty of pamphlets and info about things going on in and around Berlin, but most importantly, in my mind, is to grab a map of Historic Downtown Berlin. You wouldn’t want to miss something good, just because you didn’t look around a corner!
You can also get a printable copy of the map by clicking here or by going to www.berlinmainstreet.com
In the next few posts, I’ll give you a little more information about the individual business and offer some of my personal insight and experiences, which will hopefully help you get the most out of your visit in Berlin! You can always post a question in the comments section and I’ll do my best to respond promptly.
