BOOKS IN BERLIN: A Plea For Help
Books. I can’t get enough of these. I love them. What else can take you on adventure, teach you new things and introduce you to new people without every leaving the comfort of your favorite chair? It’s an addiction. One shared with many members of my family.
It was less than a week after settlement on our home in Berlin, Md, that I went to the library and got a library card. I absolutely love having a library that I can walk to. It may be small, but it’s easy to get to and the librarians are amazingly friendly and you can request books from other libraries. I am also really impressed by the community garden outside of the library, which fits an incredible number of plants into a small space, is well maintained and serves a need in the community. Never been to our library? Check it out here.
Here’s the hitch and here is where I need your help. Where is there a book store. One of Brad and my favorite dates, is to go hang out in the book store, preferably sipping a cup of coffee while we peruse the selections. I have googled bookstores, looked them up in multiple phone books and asked a few people and still no luck finding that book store. The closest one I can find is in Salisbury ,except for a children’s book store in West Ocean City. There must be one out there for me. If there is anyone out there reading and knows where I can find a bookstore, please help feed my addiction and let me know!
