INSIDE THE WORKSHOP: Take a peak at the inside of the “barn”
Inside Our Barn
The outside of our workshop was complete, so we had one important thing to do to the inside, like add electricity so we could see in there. Brad ran electricity for outlets and lighting, but other than that we didn’t do anything. We may finish the interior walls at some point, for now we use the studs as shelves.
Because we used cement fiber siding, the only thing inside the siding is the house wrap (vapor barrier sheeting). The white color of the sheeting helps to keep it a little brighter inside, but not any warmer inside. One day maybe there will be heat and insulated walls. A girl can always dream…
The first floor is Brad’ space, but the second floor is all mine. And I love it!
The light is one that I found in the house and hope to replace soon with a ceiling fan to get the air moving up there. I am also going to add more lighting, so that I can work after the sun sets.
You can see some treasures/projects already appearing in the corner of the room. It won’t be long until, I have all my work in progress up there!
